Bassett's Roseville Prices, Revised & Expanded 3rd Ed.

ORDER FORM

Alphabetically organized price guide to Roseville Pottery, by pattern, shape number, and (when appropriate) color--citing the typical values achieved in Mid America (from Seattle to Pittsburgh, and from Minneapolis to Atlanta)

Pricing in this guide is not geared only to the major cities (such as Los Angelos or New York). Price intervals are kept reasonably narrow, in order to provide useful estimates of value.

2005-2006 values in this NEW 3rd edition     $9.95 plus shipping

Accurate shape number lists (finally!)--not available in other Roseville price guides

Line names match those used in Introducing Roseville Pottery and Understanding Roseville Pottery

Index to the terms used in older Roseville books by other writers

Boldface listings are illustrated in color in one of Mark's other Roseville books

Handy ruler on back of this vest pocket or purse size 207-pg pbk!

NEW IN THE 3RD EDITION...

"Index to Die-Impressed and Raised Shape Numbers" --Look up your piece's number, and obtain the line name. (If you know little or nothing about Roseville, you should still be able to use this price guide!)

Detailed listings for Artcraft, Carnelian (Glazes), Cherub Cameo, unusual Creamware, unique Decorated items, Della Robbia, Donatello, Early Velmoss, Experimentals, Lamps, Matt Green, Mostique, Panel, Pauleo, the three Raymor lines, Rozane Royal, Trial Glazes, and other products not typically found in guides to Roseville. Many of these are cross-references to color photos in Understanding Roseville Pottery, so Bassett's Roseville Prices now also serves both as an index and a pricing update to that hardback.

A complete Keynote shape list, published for the first time. Dating information for each line, based on the original research findings published in my hardback books on Roseville.

Some reviews of the first edition...

"This pocket-sized price guide isn't fancy, but it does a fine job of giving collectors a quick rundown of the wealth of items produced by Roseville... For each pattern, items are listed by shape numbers, making it easy to find a value for almost any piece of Roseville Pottery."

--Antique Week, Spring 2001

"An easy-to-carry handbook for knowledgeable collectors... This is a quick-reference book, and serves as a companion to Bassett's INTRODUCING ROSEVILLE POTTERY... Values are provided by glaze color when appropriate."

--A review from the Schiffer archives, ca. Spring 2001
