During 2005 and the first half of 2006, I also had items in a showcase at a shop called Gatsby Gallery Antiques (of Cleveland Heights, Ohio), which is now (unfortunately) closed. The shop owners are now emphasizing their antiques show schedule and other ventures.

A View of Mark Bassett's Showcase in Fall 2005

As of July 1, 2006,

MARK BASSETT DOES
NOT have any merchandise for sale in any antique mall nor antique shop.

Instead, in a few select pottery and/or Art Deco shows, and on the Internet (see links above), Mark's booth always offers examples of both Roseville and Cowan for sale, from beginning-level to advanced selections. As a member of the American Art Pottery Association, Mark asks that prospective customers familiarize themselves with his Terms of Sale, which include adherence to the AAPA's Code of Ethics. Buy with confidence!

Besides Roseville and Cowan, Mark also sells Weller, Rookwood, Owens, Hyalyn, Red Wing, RumRill, AMACO (American Art Clay Company), Viktor Schreckengost designs for Salem China and American Limoges, and other American and European art pottery. He enjoys the "high style" periods: the Aesthetic Movement, Art Nouveau, the Arts and Crafts period, Art Deco, and Mid-Century Modernism (sometimes called "Eames era").
