For a schedule of Mark's upcoming shows & other travel, consult the Show Schedule. At the bottom of this page are tips for browsing through Mark's current inventory. Mark's specialty is American (and European)
art pottery,
including the colorful 1920-1970 molded wares made by the various
popular collectible potteries--such as Roseville, Weller, rare Cowan
figures by Waylande Gregory, mid-century modern Hyalyn, china designed
by artist Viktor Schreckengost, and many more. He often has interesting
examples in other styles/periods too, including Art Nouveau, Aesthetic,
and Arts and Crafts. In addition to pottery,
at the antique shows, Mark will be selling autographed copies of his
books--Cowan Pottery and the
Cleveland School, Introducing
Roseville
Pottery, Bassett's Roseville Prices,
Understanding Roseville Pottery,
and his newest title, American Art Pottery Wall Pockets. This
summer (2005), a third edition of Bassett's
Roseville Prices will be available.
